Project Engineer and Design Engineer on multi-million dollar road and bridge construction projects – Learned how roads and bridges get built, from the first bucket of dirt moved to the final grass seed planted, troubleshooting and problem-solving all throughout the project and working around Mother Nature’s plans.

Estimating and Project Managing of site utilities – Understanding the proper techniques of sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main installations of small to large scale projects.

Design, Construction and Management of ICF (insulated concrete form) home – Personally completed each step of the design and construction process, including: performed a topographic survey, used AutoCAD to design a 3-dimensional model of the house, giving the homeowners a clear idea of what the house would look like in-place on the acreage, produced house plans from the 3-D drawing and built the home.

Quality Control of Materials – Knowing distinctly what makes for acceptable building materials, becoming proficient in rock, concrete, asphalt and soils.
